Let's get real: we all have one favourite One Direction member. Who's yours? 😜

Ever since these boys went their own ways and made their own music, we'll admit we stayed tuned in to see what's coming for them next. Of course, we've been waiting for their own solo albums and one by one we're finally getting them!

In case you haven't heard yet, Niall Horan's first solo album 'Flicker' came out recently and we've been so excited to check it out! Listen to the deluxe version of Flicker on Spotify here and read on for our little review!

1. On The Loose - This gave us major 'Made in the A.M.' vibes! Don't you think so? You'll love this song if you loved One Direction's "What A Feeling"!

2. This Town - The perfect sequel to One Direction's "Little Things". This being the first single from this album, we definitely didn't expect the vibe of the other songs.

"If the whole world was watching I'd still dance with you"? SWOON!

3. Seeing Blind - Doesn't this song just make you want to dance and fall in love? We're so thankful for this track because Niall and Maren just sound beautiful together!

4. Slow Hands - Also known as -- the single that's got us sooo surprised. Did you expect that such a single would come from Mr. Niall Horan? We didn't expect this! But we loved it because of it's awesome catchy-ness.

5. Too Much To Ask - Confession time: we all have one person we want to dedicate this to - whether it'd be a fresh break up or the one that got away.

6. Paper Houses - If you're going through something heavy recently, we're sure this will make you cry! (Tried and tested! 😝) This song is all about being on the verge of losing something important to you.

It doesn't even matter if it's related to a relationship, an experience, your career, or just life in general. Especially when Niall reaches the last part of the song and then twists the lyrics into "Why do we climb to fall so far?" 😭💔

7. Since We're Alone - Want to dance and sway to the beat with your special person? This also has the vibe similar to One Direction's 'What A Feeling', although it's also different in its own way.

8. Flicker - Looking for another song that'll make you want to cry? This song has that sad quality to it, but the lyrics sounds so hopeful that you'll also feel hope blossoming in your chest.

But hearing Niall say "Please don't leave"? Pass the tissue, please. 😭

9. Fire Away - We've been talking so much about crying and now, he's giving us the assurance that it's okay to cry, and that he'll stick with you no matter how hard you cry! Are you falling in love with him yet? 😋

10. You And Me - Niall's always had that quality to his voice and songs that reminds us of Ed Sheeran, don't you agree? This song is one of those that resembles Ed's masterpieces.

The story of this song goes out to everyone who's ever had someone they'll always go back to, no matter what. "That at the end of the road, I see you with me" - We need more tissues. More tissues!!

11. On My Own - So we've spent most of the time crying and needing someone to love, but now, here's the ode to all our peeps out there who are strong and independent men/women who don't need no lover! Drink up!

12. Mirrors - At first glance at this title you'll think of Justin Timberlake, but this couldn't be farther from that! We've read recently on J-14 that the story of this song isn't something he went through firsthand. It was inspired by something that happened in a coffee shop!

He saw a girl looking upset, but then laughed at something the waiter said when he came over. He wrote the story on his phone and used it a couple of days after when he was working on this song.

See? Even songwriters like this guy get inspired even by the simplest things happening around us!

13. The Tide - You know that moment when you listen to a song and you just feel like it would sound great in a movie soundtrack? This is one of those songs. The tune and the feel of the song is also a great closing to the album!

Overall we absolutely loved this album! It also cured our aching heart due to the lack of new One Direction material. 😋

Be consistent and include these as part of your daily bread. Ask every member of your family (at least) to support you and do the same. Like a ripple effect, at least 5/10 ratio of people has a bigger impact than 2/10 ratio of saving mother earth.
