Sharing expenses with more people can make your tours and accommodations a lot cheaper. We also noticed that when booking for flights, even numbers are a lot cheaper rather than doing individual bookings (just an observation)!
This is intended for those who created a Do-It-Yourself itinerary. It's common to pick a couple of sights you don't want to miss during your trip, but it's also ideal to leave an open schedule for the unexpected. This way, you'll have more time to appreciate what comes along so you won't feel bad about what you miss.
Again, it's okay to splurge a little when travelling. However, make sure to check the right prices of the item or the service you're planning to avail. If you think that the offered price is too expensive, observe and learn how to haggle. But remember to be reasonable!
Some locals might trick or scam you, especially if they know you're a tourist or a first-time visitor. These incidents often happen in the city center.
Being street smart comes from experience. It means you've learned how to take what has happened to you, good or bad. Think about your experiences and learn to improve from them!
Hope this has been helpful!
Enjoy your #FirstTravel2019.
