After almost seven years, Andrew Lloyd Weber's masterpiece has returned to Manila! Theater fans rejoice as they rush to score tickets to one of the world's most famous musicals.

If you're still undecided whether or not this show is worth a see, we've listed down the reasons why you should go fix your schedule and get tickets ASAP! (Even if you're not theater fans!)

1. The Phantom of the Opera is one of the most iconic anti-heroes in the world of fiction

Sure, you've never heard the songs. Nor have you watched the films, or any of the theater productions before. That doesn't mean you've never heard of this, because we're sure you HAVE heard of The Phantom of the Opera.

As humans, we have a fascination with anti-heroes. In stories, we like hating on the villains or the enemies. But when the roles are reversed, if the 'villain' is the star of the story, it tells us that everyone has their own hardships and struggles to tell. Watching this musical will tug on your heartstrings because we get a deeper understanding of who The Phantom of the Opera is.

2. The production is in Manila for a limited time only. It's not to be missed!

The last time the musical was in Manila was back in 2012 - it's been almost 7 years! If you missed those shows, then you shouldn't miss it this time. Trust us - every peso you spend is worth it!

The last show will be on April 6, Saturday, at 8PM. That means you've got less than a month to see the show so start booking your tickets now!

3. The production and set design is incredible

If you've experienced producing plays or musicals back in high school or college, you'll enjoy feeling very awed at the set design of the show in Solaire. When you enter the theater before the show starts, the stage looks pretty simple. But once it begins and you see the set up for the different scenes, we're sure you'll get blown away!

Taking videos and photos during the show is not allowed, but the production is something you'll never forget.

4. Talented actors are showcased

The show boasts talented performers who will surely amaze you. Here's The Phantom and ChristineDaaé played by Jonathan Roxmouth and Meghan Picerno.
Here's Jonathan Roxmouth in all his Phantom glory:
You'll be amazed to know that Jonathan Roxmouth also played the role of The Phantom back in 2012! And he came to the Philippines for good reason - he's an amazing actor and his voice is astounding!

Also, here's Raoul and Madame Giry played by Matt Leisy and Melina Kalomas, respectively:
Every performer on the cast will amaze you for sure! They're made up of a talented bunch and you'll enjoy watching them on stage. In case you're not fully convinced, here's a quick sneak peek from their rehearsal:

5. Even non-theater fans will love the show

If you're not a huge fan of musicals and plays, you'll surely think going here would be a waste of time. But that couldn't be more wrong! The people behind the stage, the people on the stage, and the entire production will surely turn you into a fan. You'll be amazed at how the show was put together and how you've witnessed such an amazing story played in front of your very eyes! This is an experience you'll never forget.

6. The show is held at Solaire Resort and Casino

If you've never been to Solaire, this is your chance to see how it looks like! Solaire has a beautiful theater and you'll even get to pass by some of the casinos on your way there. Sure, going to a casino might not be on your bucket list but you'll get to see how the hotel looks! There are lots of areas there where you'll surely want to get your next OOTD shot taken. 😉

7. There are ticket prices fit for every budget

Be consistent and include these as part of your daily bread. Ask every member of your family (at least) to support you and do the same. Like a ripple effect, at least 5/10 ratio of people has a bigger impact than 2/10 ratio of saving mother earth.
