'Thor: Ragnarok' film review

The review:

This film brings back the lightness and comedic fun of the Marvel cinematic universe. Although Spider-Man: Homecoming had a lightness to it, this installment of Thor will surely make you laugh out loud at the stars' acting and antics, and the smartly funny script.

Though we have an idea how much pressure there is to create a sequel after a blockbuster film, we know that it may not be too tedious for a Marvel film. The filmmakers always seem to exceed the expectations of avid Marvel fans and/or moviegoers. It's easy to hypothesize that the pressure must be really tough for Marvel directors.

But for Thor, we assure you that the pressure is never an issue! From Kenneth Branagh directing the First Thor in 2011 to Alan Taylor's Thor: The Dark World in 2013, and now with Director Taika Waititi, there's no doubt -- it remains to be one of the most anticipated films of the year! And for good reason!

Even though Thor and the characters around him really changed over time, we can tell that it's not a drastic change brought by the circumstances they faced. Rather, it's a gradual one that made them more relatable and appealing. We commend how the directors and the scriptwriters did this because they were very successful in spicing up the franchise!

This film also deviates from the heaviness in Avengers: Civil War, where everyone was mostly trying to kill everyone. This is perfect for you if you've missed Thor, Hulk, and Loki! There's also a special cameo at the early part of the film, which we're sure you'll absolutely love. 😉
